Crops, ponds destroyed in quest for food safety

 In an article in the San Francisco Chronicle,  a horrific trend unfolds. All reasonable, rational natural farming methods are being jettisoned, because of the fear of e. coli. I encourage you to read this article and consider its consequences.

Let us be clear: The Sacred Garden Sanctuary will use all reasonable precautions to reduce the chance of e. coli contamination of its produce. However, we will not sacrifice permaculture and natural farming methods, which may in fact decrease the chance of deadly bacterial contamination.
