Status Update

I continue to focus most of my energies on the business (Sites That Grow LLC) to generate capital for the project. I have taken on a part-tiem teaching job, which is keeping me busier than ever.

We recently had a visit from Patricia, a woman from Tucson, who is interested in the project and can draw out a housing plot for us -- she is an interior designer.  We hope to have another visit from her soon.

We also received an inquiry from Mark, of the Oracle, Arizona area.

Another man named Mike G. has also expressed interest and may come to visit sometime in 2009.

Our fall has been very mild. Last year we had our first hard frost date on Nov 24. I consider it a hard frost when the tomato vines bite the dust. That was a later date than I remember experiencing in the previous 3 years at the Sanctuary. Here on Dec 4 we have yet to get a hard frost, although it is gradually turning cooler. Our high today was 70 degrees F and it is expected to get down to 30 tonight.
