About Us

David Ross

David Ross currently holds the Office of the Overseer of Seven Angels Ministries, and his Successors, a Corporation Sole, which holds title to the Sanctuary land. As Overseer, he is responsible for general oversight of the activities of the Ministries. David is a partner in The World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts in San Francisco, California and is working on various educational projects in the areas of healing and co-creation. David and his brother Jim Ross, with the assistance of Sites That Grow LLC, will soon launch the Creator Network and You4ia.com, a website which will both educate and connect people to help them manifest their dreams and personal visions.

Edwin Basye

I, Edwin, am Steward, appointed by the Office of the Overseer. As Steward, I am responsible for managing Sacred Garden Sanctuary and taking the community development forward as time and resources allow. I had a long, successful career in computer programming and database management in Santa Clara, California. After some "burn-out" in the corporate world  and realizing the need for a major shift in my life in 1999, I quit my job and moved to Rochester, New York,  where I pursued the quest of "what's next". I recognized that my career and the pursuit of material possessions for the sake of material possessions and status held no meaning and no spiritual reward. In 2000-2003,  I explored the healing arts and have been certified in several modalities. I also studied organic gardening, which led me to permaculture. I obtained certification in 2004. I became focused on sustainable living and a vegetarian lifestyle with lots of raw foods. During this period I also focused on improving my relationship skills and personal development. I have taken workshops with the Hendricks Foundation ("Conscious Loving"), the Human Awareness Institute, The Mankind Project, Re-evaluation Co-Counseling, The Heartwork Institute, and Sid Simon, as well as many other less-formal workshops and discussion groups. As a result of this work, I have deepened my understanding of myself, gained self-confidence, and improved my ability relate to others in both one-on-one and group settings. In December of 2003 I made another shift, moving to Arizona to actualize the dreams I have had  for a community of love, health, freedom, abundance, and personal development. My ideas about money have evolved into a more balanced view, realizing that money is very important to accomplish what I am passionate about. Therefore, in 2007 I began a web design and development business to encourage sustainability in the business world, and to help fund the Sacred Garden Sanctuary and other projects. I never consider myself finished with personal growth, realizing that there is always so much more to learn and experience. I intend that the community which we will build will provide opportunities for personal growth for all participants, and an abundance of sustainable health, wealth, connected relationships, joy, and satisfaction. Michael Grainge

Michael is a recent addition to the Sanctuary and has proven himself immensely valuable since joining on April 11, 2009. He has a vast wealth of experience and multiple graduate degrees, including a Masters in Plant Pathology.

Seven Angels Ministries

Seven Angels Ministries is a corporation sole registered in Nevada as "The Office of the Overseer of Seven Angels Ministries, and His Successors, a Corporation Sole" and holds title to the lands of Sacred Garden Sanctuary.

The Office of the Overseer

This is an office of service in the tradition of the overseers of almonries of the past. The style and intent of the office is that of gentle guidance and mentoring, with the intent of encouraging the full and free expression of creativity and spirit in the lives of those it serves. Part of the duties and responsibilities of the Overseer is to maintain the focus and direction and adhere to the values and intentions of the ministries, and the protection and proper stewardship of the ministries' hereditaments ("possessions").

The Current Purpose and Direction of the Ministries

Seven Angels Ministries is currently focused on primarily two things: sustainable abundance for every human being on the planet, and practicing manifesting (co-creating) and helping others to manifest that which fulfills each of us at the deepest level. Practicing this is true spirituality. We believe attention on these areas is important to take us to the next step in human evolution.

Sustainable Abundance

Sustainable abundance includes optimal health for humankind and all species of life. It includes the use of sustainable agriculture practices to conserve water, build soil fertility (improving the quality of food), renewable energy sources that are close to carbon-neutral and ideally sequester carbon from the atmosphere, and the practice of healthy diet and exercise. Sustainable abundance also includes a sustainable economy, which means taking responsibility for financial resources individually and collectively by minimizing debt and co-creating sustainable businesses.

Jim has been Edwin's personal coach for over seven years. He has gifted me (Edwin) with his time during one-to-one calls almost every week. I am eternally grateful for his help and encouragement through tough times and wonderful moments, and the gentle education he has given me on the subject of co-creation and manifestation.

Ken Beach

Ken has been supportive and helpful to the Sanctuary in many ways, helping out with rock dam building, finding resources and services at favorable costs, saving the Sanctuary thousands of dollars. He also has provided an in-town base and an office for Sites That Grow LLC Edwin's website business which helps support the Sacred Garden Sanctuary.
